Chris Fankhauser
WellSpring Director of Clinical Services
Chris began her career in health care during college as a therapy aide in a skilled nursing facility in 1996. She held this position throughout undergraduate and graduate school until she graduated with her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2002. From there, Chris worked as a PT and then as the Therapy Director in nursing facilities. She later obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009. Throughout her career, Chris has also held various positions that have branched outside of therapy including, Orthopaedic Therapy Liaison, Director of Clinical Education, and Director of Clinical Outcomes and Engagements. Chris’ passion has always been teaching and helping individuals improve their quality of life. She has had a strong interest in the hospice philosophy since her grandmother was placed on hospice several years ago. She was blessed to begin her career in hospice three years ago and now joins the WellSpring Hospice team as the Director of Clinical Services.
