Our Mission

The mission of WellSpring Hospice is to provide physical, emotional, social and spiritual support to terminally-ill patients, as well as their families and loved ones, while assisting patients and families to live with dignity and comfort as they cope with end-of-life issues.

Our Philosophy

WellSpring Hospice is guided by the same philosophy of care established by the “Florence Nightingale” of modern Hospice, Dame Cicely Saunders. Through compassion, respect, and effective pain management, we operate with the understanding that all individuals are worthy of the greatest level of dignity and highest quality of care possible no matter what stage they are in their life.

A Personal Touch

“The first day the hospice nurses met in my dad’s home to discuss my mom’s hospice care is such a precious memory. [ey were] so heartfelt and compassionate. My Dad broke down and cried while one of the nurses sat beside him and placed her hand on his. She helped him make the tough decisions with dignity and understanding. Later that day, she spoke to me about her concern over both my parents and she hugged me. She felt like family right away. I could tell she cared about my parents almost as much as I did. WellSpring Hospice Care set in motion everything my Mom and Dad needed for their final days…”
